The Destroyer removes the target object from the world when executed. The Destroyer can also be used to destroy component nodes.
|Target||The target object that will be destroyed.|
|Execute||Executes the component.|
|On Start||Executes the component at the start of the Hype.|
|Enabled||Determines if the component is executable.|
Destroying an object with a button press
Step 1: Spawn a Destroyer. The Destroyer can be a standalone component node or be added directly to the object you want to destroy via it's details menu.
Step 2: Set up the Destroyer:
Step 3: Spawn a Button Component and set it to activate the destroyer
Step 4: Test that the button destroys the object
Note: In this example the box contains some additional logic that activates the particle effect seen when it is destroyed
